The Children’s Music School in Lida

The school today is a living developing organism. The central figure in school is the student.

It is the teaching staff’s greatest value and achievement.

Training is conducted in 21 music specialities at seven departments. 

Classes of bass guitar and pop singing were opened in 2011.

Moreover, classes of bayan, accordion and violin work in the agro-town Dvorishcha (Lida district).
                                                                                                                                                               

Currently 543 young musicians are trained in the following specialities: piano, vocals, violin, cello, domra, balalaika, guitar,

bass guitar, dulcimer, button accordion, accordion, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, percussions.
        17 school students were awarded special prizes from the President’s Fund of support of talented youth of the Republic of Belarus.

 

At the end of 2010, 2011 and 2012, «The Children’s Music School in Lida» was awarded the 2nd degree Diploma at the Regional Contest for the best institution of the year in the nomination «School of Arts» & in 2014 it became a winner!

These results are possible thanks to the coordinated work of the professional team. The teaching staff of the school today consists of 72 qualified specialists, 80% of whom have the first and the highest pedagogical categories.
